Dār al-Arqam (دار الارقم) was the house of al-Arqam b. Abi l-Arqam in which the holy Prophet (s) and the very first Muslims used to gather in secret in the early days of Islam to worship Allah. Dar al-Arqam was near Safa mountain and outside al-Masjid al-Haram. Later, a library was established there which was destroyed in 1975. Then it came into the al-Masjid al-Haram during the developments in the era of Sa'ud b. Abd al-Aziz.
